Christopher Kane, Co-Founder

Christopher Kane is a Partner at Adams and Reese, LLP. ,practicing in the areas of transportation, economic development, business litigation, and professional athlete injury claims. Christopher has also been involved with various recovery legal issues since Hurricane Katrina. A Crowe Scholar from Loyola University Law School, Christopher also holds an M.B.A. from Christian Brothers University.

Stephanie Mayne

A native of Lafayette, Stephanie Mayne was raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Mass Communication and a minor in Latin, she relocated to New Orleans to serve as event manager for The Degas House, having gained valuable experience at LSU planning events for both Tiger Pride Football Recruiting and the Manship School. Soon Mayne became Operations Manager for a local destination management company, Event Specialists of New Orleans. After three years, she left to become Director of Special Events for Lifestyle Revolution Group, where she sold, planned and executed all events for three venues. During that time, she also served as President of Desire NOLA’s Board of Directors. Mayne has worked for the Grammy-winning New Orleans Jazz Orchestra since 2009; after several promotions within the organization, she serves as Chief of Staff for both NOJO and their partnership with the University of New Orleans, the New Orleans Jazz Institute. She also serves on the board of Unity of Greater New Orleans, an organization dedicated to resolve the issues of homelessness in New Orleans.

Walter J. Leger III

Walter “Walt” J. Leger III was elected by acclimation in 2012 to serve as the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Louisiana House of Representatives, the youngest member to ever serve in this position. He was first elected to the Legislature representing District 91 in the Louisiana House in the fall of 2007, and re-elected without opposition in 2011 to represent parts of Uptown, Central City, the Lower Garden District, the Irish Channel, Broadmoor, Marleyville and Hollygrove in New Orleans. Leger is an attorney at the law firm of Leger & Shaw in New Orleans where he practices in Admiralty & Maritime law and commercial, insurance, and complex civil litigation. While in college, Leger served as a summer intern in Senator John Breaux’s office in Washington, DC. After graduating from Louisiana State University with numerous honors, Leger attended Tulane Law School, earning a certificate of specialization in Admiralty & Maritime Law. At Tulane, Leger served as the Business Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Tulane Environmental Law Newsletter.

Jody Montelaro

Jody Montelaro is Vice President of Public Affairs for Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C. Before working for Entergy, Jody served as senior policy advisor to Gov. Bobby Jindal in the areas of natural resources, environmental quality, wildlife and fisheries, agriculture, and corrections and state police issues. Jody is an honors graduate of Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, where he served as law school president.

Tony Maiorana

Tony Maiorana is a shareholder at Newman, Mathis, Brady, and Spedale and primarily practices in the firm’s commercial litigation section. Tony also started his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish and served on the Board of Ambassadors for the American Cancer Society. Maiorana received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 2002.
